Club Coordinator and Secretary Frövi IK
Part-time position of 50%, permanent.
Do you have a desire to work with community life? Do you enjoy promoting the well-being of young people and can you engage others through your way of being? Then you have a good chance of succeeding in the role of operations manager with us. We are looking for a person who is communicatively competent and who easily builds relationships. We also wish that you are organized and structured.
Background:
Frövi IK is a well-established association with approximately 450 members. The association was founded in 1920 and has since worked to enable an active everyday life for the youth of the community. Today, we have three sports sections consisting of Football, Ultimate Frisbee, and Athletics. These three sections constitute our activities and lifeblood, each having a working group that directs and steers their respective section. The overall direction for the association is determined by the board. The board includes representation from all three sections to ensure good cooperation between them and that each section's interests are represented. The board supports all sections on an overarching level and cares for the best interests of the entire association.
About the role Club Coordinator/Secretary
As a club coordinator, you work for the association and its members, as well as the sections, and support based on a division of labor decided by the board. The position means being the spider in the web and ensuring that we work towards our set goals.
The main tasks are:
- Work in the association's daily operations, which includes following up our membership register, invoicing, registering new members, handling LOK and activity support applications, being an all-rounder in orders, mail, IT, invoicing, and finance, as well as key responsibility (distribution, return, new acquisitions, and register). Writing applications and managing reporting.
- Manage our phone and email and communicate both internally and externally.
- Booking responsibility for our facilities (Rbok) and contact with the municipality, caretakers, and the Recreation Office. Internal coordination regarding times and seasonal bookings.
- Referee responsibility for youth football and our own youth referees (3-, 5-, and 7-a-side).
- Coordinate and support the work in our working groups for Facilities, Näsbyvallen, Finance, and Sponsorship, and have a long-term focus on recruiting and retaining volunteers in these groups.
- Contact with partners/sponsors. Work with existing partners and actively seek new ones.
- Drive projects and events in collaboration with leaders, parents, and partners, such as pool games, staffing sponsor events, Fröviloppet, and Dreamfly.
- Support the sections with various tasks, assist new coaches and groups during startup, and coordinate the purchase of club clothing.
- Create and deliver diplomas, advertising signs, information notices, images for social media, etc., using Canva.
- Responsible for the association's social media.
- Adjunct in the association's board and serve as secretary.
- Organize a club day and a leader's party once a year each.
The position is a 50% employment starting April 1, 2026. Work is scheduled based on the needs of the organization, which means that work during the day/evening and weekends may occur. As the activities vary throughout the year, we see that working hours will also vary. The start of the season is often more labor-intensive, which means that you will likely work more hours during the periods of March-May and August to September. The winter months are therefore less labor-intensive.
To succeed in the role, you should be a positive, solution-focused, and communicatively competent person. It is important that you enjoy working with people and are comfortable with many points of contact - a relationship builder, in short. We believe that you enjoy a varied job and see yourself as a versatile person without prestige. If you also have experience in community life, we believe it can help you on your way.
Requirements:
B driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
If you are interested in learning more about the association and expectations for the role or would like to submit an application for the position, please contact Richard Hjerpe at 070-869 46 44 or [email protected]
Welcome with your application!
Best regards
Frövi IK
